Compliance and trust
Your programme, your responsibility, our infrastructure.
How ownership, money, data and licensing work on EasyAiRewards. General guidance, not legal advice.
The business owns the programme
Each business decides its earning rules, point expiry, qualifying purchases, redemption, rewards, the branches that take part and any exclusions. EasyAiRewards provides the infrastructure that runs the programme.
The business owner accepts the Programme Terms at onboarding, and again when a new version is published.
Points are not money
- EasyAiRewards does not hold or store customers' money.
- Points cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.
- Each business's points are used at that business only and never move between places.
Data protection
The platform is designed with Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) in mind.
- Each business's data is kept separate from every other business.
- Consent to messages is per business, with unsubscribe at any time.
- Role-based access for your team, and an audit log of staff actions.
- The business owner accepts the Privacy and Data Processing terms at onboarding.
MOCI licensing guidance
MOCI opened e-licensing for loyalty programmes in February 2026. In general, these activities may need licences:
- The loyalty programme
- A loyalty programme licence or reference.
- Promotions
- Discount campaigns, percentage off, happy hours and double points days.
- Prize draws
- Games of chance with prizes.
EasyAiRewards collects your licence details at onboarding, asks for the right licence before a promotion or prize draw is published, and reminds you 30 days and 7 days before a licence expires, and on the day.
This is general guidance, not legal advice. Check your situation with MOCI or your legal adviser.
